This article examines the most prominent critical perspectives that have addressed the language of modern poetry, drawing on a selection of works that explore the manifestations of creativity and transformation within it. The article summarizes these manifestations, including the holistic vision, the influence of Western thought, as well as revolution and rebellion against traditional poetic conventions and themes that no longer reflect the spirit of the age. The study further focuses on two poets—Ahmed Matar and Ibrahim Touqan—in order to identify the differences in the manifestations of creativity in their poetic, Poetry is the language of the senses and the language of conscious minds. Therefore, modern poetry has risen and developed in light of the many events that have taken place in the Arab world, leading to the development of aspects of poetic sensibility among many writers in Arab countries.
