Abstract

An organization that acts as a quasi-judicial authority, the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) is responsible for resolving issues that are related to companies. Because it plays a significant role in ensuring that the business continues to function in a peaceful manner by resolving any conflicts that may arise, it is the most important jurisdiction of the firm. The most important powers that these tribunals possess are investigated in this paper. NCLT is investigated in this article for its role in resolving business disputes, such as mergers, insolvencies, and claims of minority shareholder persecution. In addition, NCLT intends to streamline processes in order to allow speedier dispute resolution and reduce the course of the winding-up process.
