The current study aimed to evaluate the histological effects of Ibuprofen on the renal tissue of white laboratory rats. A total of 12 adult white rats were used and randomly divided into two groups, with each group consisting of 6 rats. The animals were administered an injection of the anti-inflammatory drug Ibuprofen at a dose of 30 mg/kg of body weight. Upon completion of the dosing and injection period for all experimental animals, the rats were euthanized and dissected for the purpose of histological examination. The study focused on the urinary system and included a comparison with the control group. Histopathological examination revealed significant renal damage, including acute glomerulonephritis characterized by leukocytic infiltration, epithelial wall thickening. Additional findings included necrosis of glomerular and tubular cells, as well as erythrocyte congestion within the capillaries.
